What is the Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS) Register?

The DAS Register is an online public register which holds information about those intending to apply for, and those who already have, a debt payment programme under DAS. It is maintained by the DAS Administrator.

The AiB, DAS Administrator is required by statute to maintain the Register and make it available for public inspection.

The information in this Register is removed in accordance with AiB in Bankruptcy's Retention and Destruction policy, which can be read Retention and Destruction Policy.

1.2 DAS Register - Terms & Conditions of use

The DAS Administrator seeks to ensure the information published in the DAS Register is up-to-date and accurate.

While every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate, occasionally errors may occur, the DAS Administrator cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions as a result of negligence or otherwise. If you identify information which appears to be incorrect or omitted, please use the feedback links contained within this site so the matter can be investigated and the Register corrected accordingly.

The DAS Administrator shall not be liable in contract, delict or otherwise for any loss of business, contracts, profits or anticipated savings or for any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever.

The DAS Administrator shall not be responsible for searchers' use of the information held in the Register. Without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, the searcher shall be responsible for complying with any applicable data protection, copyright and other legislation and regulations.

In no circumstances shall the DAS Administrator be liable to the searcher for any loss or damage arising from any interruption or cessation of the online Register facility.

In the event that searchers experience technical difficulties with the online Register, the DAS Administrator will provide a support service during the hours of 09.00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) or at: aib@aib.gov.uk

The DAS Administrator will endeavour to ensure that the Register is available for access at all times, excluding periods of planned maintenance and data processing. The data processing will occur daily between the hours of 03.00 and 05.00 whilst planned maintenance shall normally occur on the last Sunday of each month.

A notice will be posted in the Register to advise searchers of impending maintenance. Where the Register is not available for any other reason searchers should notify the DAS Administrator as soon as possible. In the event that the Register is off-line for at least two full working days following the fault notification AiB may offer, where practicable to do so, a discretionary facility to conduct urgent searches.

Where the DAS Administrator is affected by Force Majeure, searchers will be notified promptly of the nature and extent of the circumstances in question. The DAS Administrator shall not be deemed to be in breach of obligations in relation to maintenance of the Register to the extent that any delay or non-performance is due to any Force Majeure of which searchers have been notified. The time for performance of any obligation shall be extended by such reasonable period as shall be agreed between AiB and searchers.

The Register must not be used in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.

The use of our Register to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software is strictly prohibited.

Any systematic or automated data collection activities (including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to our Register without the express written consent of the DAS Administrator is forbidden.

The DAS Administrator reserves the right to withdraw access to the register until further notice, notifying the searcher either orally (confirming such notification in writing) or in writing. This action may be taken for any reason as deemed appropriate by the DAS Administrator.

By proceeding to the DAS Register, the searcher is confirming their understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
